Wings of War

A week until the anniversary of that fateful morning in Sarajevo, but before we get to the immediate build up to that, a piece of shameless promotion!
Author's copies arrived yesterday. Wings of War, Book I in the Tales of War series.
Saskatchewan, 1914—Edward Simpson's uncle builds airplanes in his barn. In exchange for help, he teaches Edward to fly, but as the boy's passion for flight grows, the world is descending into the chaos and horror of the First World War.
A tale of the days of the Fokker Scourge, before Billy Bishop and the Red Baron, when the battles were more solitary and the technology—often the difference between life and death—was changing terrifyingly fast.
"Wilson writes eloquently about one boy's love of flight and his dream of flying…thoroughly engaging. A fine, old-fashioned-feeling coming-of-age tale set in the World War I skies." Kirkus Review
In bookstores everywhere from June 24 (four days before the 100th anniversary of those two shots on that Sarajevo morning), and available for pre-order from Amazon.caAmazon.com, and Amazon.co.uk  in paperback or eBook.
